Superb Lovemans Downtown Condo: August 2-5

Sale Description:

A stunning estate full of fine art objects including Rookwood pottery, Chinese ceramics & carvings, sterling service ware, fine jewelry, indigenous art items from around the world, nautical antiques, fine art paintings, oriental rugs, and plenty of exquisite furnishings.

This will be an incredible opportunity from the Estate of Patsy & John Starke. The estate represents decades of travel and living abroad with an extensive collection of Asian art as well as other ethnic collections. John served 30 years with Phillips Petroleum, ending his career with the company as President in China. Their extended time in China allowed them opportunities to acquire this beautiful accumulation of oriental art. Spending most of their retirement in Chattanooga, TN, they also added many fine furnishings and works of art to their downtown condominium in the historic Lovesmans building in downtown Chattanooga.
