STUNNING LOOKOUT MTN ESTATE: APR 22-24

Sale Description:

This Lookout Mountain sale contains a monumental collection of antiques, vintage collectibles, and local memorabilia.  This gorgeous mountain property holds three structures packed full of quality items.  The main residence has two stories full of elegant glassware, kitchen collectibles, Lookout Mountain and other local memorabilia, a collection of sterling silver and silverplate, fabulous antique lamps, fine antique furniture, and finally one of the most extensive collections of Heisey glassware you’ll ever see!  The second facility on the property is known lovingly as “The Cookie Jar House”.  This guest house is unmistakably packed with over 250 vintage cookie jars that soar two stories high across the walls.  These jars will evoke countless memories from the past.  Additionally, the cookie jar house has some splendid Early American and Victorian furniture, a collection of Holt Howard collectibles, depression era kitchen collectibles, several fabulous Barrister bookcases, and many handmade quilts.  The third structure, which serves as a garage and storage building, is also packed with many more items of collectability and utility.  The sale also features original Mid-Century oil paintings by a well revered artist, Tibor Pataky, as well as works from local artists, and a canvas by renowned artist, Thomas Kinkade.  This residence, being the home of the late John T. Pataky, a 46+ year coach and teacher of the McCallie School, is also scattered with memorabilia and old relics from the school.  This estate is truly a special and unique opportunity to capture some glorious pieces of the past.  At this moment, we have captured images of only 65% of the sale contents, so be sure to revisit the sale page to see more offerings.
